Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente Scherzinger is an American singer, actress, dancer, and television personality best known as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Born on June 29, 1978, in Honolulu, Hawaii, she is of Filipino and Native Hawaiian descent on her mother’s side and has Ukrainian and German heritage from her adoptive father. Scherzinger studied performing arts at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, before launching her entertainment career.

Scherzinger first gained public attention as a member of the reality show group Eden’s Crush in 2001 before joining the Pussycat Dolls in 2003. As the group’s lead vocalist, she helped drive their massive commercial success with hits like “Don’t Cha,” “Buttons,” “When I Grow Up,” and “Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny).” The Pussycat Dolls sold over 55 million records worldwide before going on hiatus in 2010.
