Omah Lay is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer who has emerged as one of the most exciting voices in Afrobeats and the broader African music scene. Born Stanley Omah Didia in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, he comes from a musical family — his grandfather was a percussionist for legendary highlife musician Celestine Ukwu.
