Laila Ali is a retired professional boxer, television personality, and entrepreneur who carved out her own legendary legacy in combat sports while carrying one of the most famous surnames in sporting history. Born on December 30, 1977, in Miami Beach, Florida, she is the daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali and his third wife, Veronica Porsche Ali. Despite her father’s initial reservations about her entering the ring, Laila pursued boxing and made her professional debut in October 1999 at age 21.

Ali quickly proved she was far more than just a famous name. Fighting in the super middleweight and light heavyweight divisions, she compiled a perfect professional record of 24-0 with 21 knockouts. She won multiple world titles, including the WBC, WIBA, IBA, and IWBF female super middleweight championships.
