French Montana

Karim Kharbouch, known professionally as French Montana, is a Moroccan-American rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur who has become one of hip-hop’s most recognizable international voices. Born in Casablanca, Morocco, he immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of 13, settling in the South Bronx, New York City. Growing up in a tough neighborhood, he turned to music as an outlet and began building his reputation through a series of street DVDs called “Cocaine City” before transitioning into recording music.

French Montana’s breakthrough came through his mixtape series and his association with Max B and the Coke Boys collective.
