Bobby Berk is an American interior designer and television personality who gained widespread fame as the design expert on Netflix’s Emmy-winning reboot Queer Eye. Born on August 25, 1981, in Houston, Texas, Bobby grew up in Mount Vernon, Missouri, and left home at 15 after coming out to his conservative religious family. His early struggles shaped his resilience and drive, eventually leading him to build a successful career in design and media.

Before Queer Eye, Bobby had already established himself as a talented interior designer. He moved to New York City and launched Bobby Berk Home, an online retail store offering modern furniture and home accessories. His eye for design and business acumen allowed him to grow the brand into a respected name in the industry. When Netflix cast him as the design expert for the Queer Eye reboot in 2018, it catapulted him to international fame and significantly expanded his client base.

On Queer Eye, Bobby was responsible for transforming the living spaces of the show’s subjects, often completing dramatic home makeovers in just a few days.
