Asake, born Ahmed Ololade Asake, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who has become one of the most prominent figures in the Afrobeats and Amapiano music scenes. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, he studied at Obafemi Awolowo University before pursuing music full-time. His unique blend of Yoruba-influenced melodies with contemporary Afrobeats and street-pop sounds quickly set him apart from his peers.

Asake’s rise to stardom began in 2022 when he signed with YBNL Nation, the label run by Nigerian superstar Olamide.
