Wi Ha-joon

Wi Ha-joon is a South Korean actor who rose to international fame through his role as Hwang Jun-ho in the global Netflix phenomenon Squid Game. Born on August 12, 1991, in Wando County, South Jeolla Province, South Korea, Wi developed an interest in acting during high school and moved to Seoul to pursue his dream. He studied acting at Sungkyunkwan University and began his career in theater before transitioning to television and film.

Wi Ha-joon made his screen debut in 2012 and spent several years building his career through supporting roles in Korean dramas and films. His early notable works include Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and the horror film Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum (2018), which became one of the highest-grossing Korean horror films.
