Peter Dinklage is an American actor who became one of the most celebrated performers of his generation through his iconic portrayal of Tyrion Lannister in HBO’s Game of Thrones. Born in Morristown, New Jersey, Dinklage was born with achondroplasia, a common form of dwarfism, and stands 4 feet 4 inches tall. He studied acting at Bennington College in Vermont and spent years working in theater and independent film before achieving mainstream success.
