Parvati Shallow

Parvati Shallow is one of the most iconic contestants in the history of the CBS reality competition series Survivor. Born on September 21, 1982, and raised in Vero Beach, Florida, Shallow first appeared on Survivor: Cook Islands in 2006 and quickly became known for her strategic gameplay and social skills. Her debut season laid the groundwork for what would become one of the most celebrated careers in reality competition history.

Shallow cemented her legacy by winning Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites in 2008, widely regarded as one of the best seasons in the show’s history. Her ability to form and control alliances, execute blindsides, and charm fellow contestants earned her the title of Sole Survivor and the million-dollar prize. She returned for Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains in 2010, where she finished as the runner-up and was named one of the greatest Survivor players of all time by fans and fellow contestants alike.

Parvati Shallow married fellow Survivor contestant John Fincher in 2017, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2020. As of 2026, her estimated net worth stands at $2 million, accumulated through her Survivor winnings, television appearances, coaching practice, brand partnerships, and speaking engagements. She remains one of the most recognizable and respected figures in the reality television world.
