Keshi, born Casey Luong on April 20, 1994, in Houston, Texas, is a Vietnamese-American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who has emerged as one of the most distinctive voices in indie pop and lo-fi R&B. The son of Vietnamese immigrants, Luong grew up in Houston where he learned guitar, bass, and ukulele, developing a deep love for music alongside his academic pursuits. He earned a nursing degree and worked as a registered nurse before his music career took off, balancing hospital shifts with recording in his bedroom studio.
