Julia Louis-Dreyfus is an American actress, comedian, and producer who is widely considered one of the greatest comedic performers in television history. Born on January 13, 1961, in New York City, she is the daughter of billionaire businessman Gerard Louis-Dreyfus, chairman of the Louis Dreyfus Group. Despite her privileged background, she carved out her own path in entertainment, joining the cast of Saturday Night Live in 1982 at the age of 21 and quickly proving her comedic talents.
