Josh Duhamel

Josh Duhamel is an American actor and former fashion model known for his roles in the Transformers film franchise, television series, and romantic comedies. Born on November 14, 1972, in Minot, North Dakota, Duhamel was a standout athlete in high school, playing football and baseball. He attended Minot State University on a football scholarship but eventually dropped out to pursue a career in entertainment, moving to California in the mid-1990s.

Duhamel’s first major break came when he won the Male Model of the Year competition in 1997 from International Modeling and Talent Association. This led to his casting on the ABC daytime soap opera All My Children in 1999, where he won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor. He then transitioned to primetime television with the NBC series Las Vegas (2003-2008), which ran for five seasons and established him as a charismatic leading man.

His film career took off in 2007 when he was cast as Captain William Lennox in Michael Bay’s Transformers.
