John Cho

John Cho is a Korean American actor who has become one of the most prominent Asian American leading men in Hollywood history. Born on June 16, 1972, in Seoul, South Korea, Cho immigrated to the United States with his family when he was six years old, growing up in Los Angeles. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied English and became involved in theater, setting the stage for his acting career.

Cho first gained widespread recognition as Harold Lee in the Harold and Kumar franchise, beginning with Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (2004). The films were groundbreaking in featuring an Asian American lead in a mainstream comedy without the role being defined by stereotypes. He went on to appear in the American Pie franchise as the memorable MILF Guy. These comedic roles established his mainstream appeal and commercial viability as a leading man.
