James Blunt

James Blunt is a British singer-songwriter who rose to international fame with his debut album “Back to Bedlam” in 2004. Born James Hillier Blount on February 22, 1974, in Tidworth, Wiltshire, England, he attended the prestigious Harrow School and went on to study at the University of Bristol, where he earned a degree in aerospace manufacturing engineering and sociology. Before pursuing music, he served as an officer in the British Army, including a deployment to Kosovo in 1999 as part of NATO peacekeeping forces.

Blunt’s debut album “Back to Bedlam” was released in 2004 and became one of the best-selling albums of the 2000s. The lead single “You’re Beautiful” became a massive worldwide hit, reaching number one in the United States, the United Kingdom, and numerous other countries.
