Isabela Merced is an American actress and singer who has become one of Hollywood’s most prominent young stars through her work in both streaming television and superhero films. Born Isabela Yolanda Moner in Cleveland, Ohio, to a Peruvian mother and American father, she began acting as a child.
Merced first gained recognition as CJ Martin in the Nickelodeon series 100 Things to Do Before High School (2014-2016) before transitioning to film with roles in Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018), and Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019), where she played the title character.
Her career reached new heights in 2025 when she took on two major franchise roles simultaneously. She plays Dina in HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2, the beloved romantic interest of Ellie, bringing emotional depth to the post-apocalyptic drama.
