Hyuna, born Kim Hyun-ah on June 6, 1992, in Seoul, South Korea, is a South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, and model who has become one of the most recognizable and influential figures in K-pop. She first entered the entertainment industry at a young age when she was selected as a member of the girl group Wonder Girls in 2007 under JYP Entertainment. She left the group due to health issues but quickly found a new home at Cube Entertainment, where she debuted as a member of 4Minute in 2009.

Hyuna’s solo career took off alongside her work with 4Minute.
