Gabriel Macht

Gabriel Macht is an American actor best known for his iconic portrayal of Harvey Specter, the charismatic and sharp-witted senior partner at Pearson Hardman, in the USA Network legal drama “Suits.” Born on January 22, 1972, in the Bronx, New York City, he is the son of actor Stephen Macht. He grew up in a family deeply connected to the entertainment industry and made his film debut at just eight years old in the 1991 film “Why Would I Lie?”

Macht studied at Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Fine Arts, graduating in 1994. He appeared in several films throughout the late 1990s and 2000s, including “Behind Enemy Lines” (2001), “The Recruit” (2003), “Because I Said So” (2007), and the superhero film “The Spirit” (2008), directed by Frank Miller.
