Ed Helms

Ed Helms is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer who has built one of the most successful careers in comedy over the past two decades. Born on January 24, 1974, in Atlanta, Georgia, he graduated from Oberlin College in 1996 with a degree in film and a concentration in geology. He honed his comedic skills at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City before landing his first major television role.

Helms first gained national attention as a correspondent on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” from 2002 to 2006, where his deadpan delivery and commitment to absurd field pieces made him a fan favorite.
