Andrew “Drew” Taggart is best known as one half of The Chainsmokers, the Grammy Award-winning electronic DJ and production duo he formed with Alex Pall. Born in Portland, Maine, Taggart developed an early interest in music and learned to play multiple instruments before attending Syracuse University, where he studied arts and sciences. After graduating, he moved to New York City, where he connected with Alex Pall in 2012, and The Chainsmokers were born.
