Don Cheadle

Don Cheadle is a versatile American actor, producer, and director who has built one of Hollywood’s most respected careers through a combination of blockbuster entertainment and socially conscious independent work. Born on November 29, 1964, in Kansas City, Missouri, Cheadle grew up in various cities before his family settled in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, beginning what would become a four-decade career in entertainment.

Cheadle first gained significant attention with his portrayal of Mouse Alexander in “Devil in a Blue Dress” (1995) and his acclaimed role as Sammy Davis Jr. in the HBO film “The Rat Pack” (1998), which earned him a Golden Globe Award.
