Daniel Kaluuya is a British actor and writer born on February 24, 1989, in London, England, to Ugandan parents. Raised on a council estate in Camden Town by his mother, Kaluuya discovered his passion for acting through school drama programs and local theater workshops. He began his professional career as a teenager, writing and starring in a play that caught the attention of casting directors, leading to early television roles including a recurring part on the popular British series “Skins” beginning in 2007.
