Bow Wow, born Shad Gregory Moss on March 9, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio, is a rapper, actor, and television personality who achieved remarkable fame as a child artist. Originally known as Lil’ Bow Wow, he was discovered by Snoop Dogg at age six when he performed at a concert in Los Angeles. This led to a connection with producer Jermaine Dupri, who signed him to So So Def Recordings. In 2000, at just 13 years old, he released his debut album “Beware of Dog,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and was certified double platinum, producing hits like “Bounce with Me” and “Bow Wow (That’s My Name).”
