Byun Baek-hyun, known professionally as Baekhyun, is one of the most commercially successful K-pop solo artists in history. Born on May 6, 1992, in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, he developed a passion for singing at a young age, inspired by Korean R&B artists. He trained at SM Entertainment before debuting as a member of the mega-popular K-pop group EXO in 2012.
