CKay, born Chukwuka Ekweani, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer who became a global sensation with his hit single “Love Nwantiti,” one of the most viral Afrobeats songs in history. Born and raised in Kaduna, Nigeria, CKay grew up in a religious household where he was exposed to music through church. He taught himself to produce music as a teenager and began releasing songs independently, eventually signing with Chocolate City Music, one of Nigeria’s leading record labels.

CKay released his debut EP “Third Third” in 2018, followed by “CKay the First” in 2019, both of which showcased his blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and pop.
