Alex Turner

Alex Turner is a British singer, songwriter, and musician best known as the frontman and lead guitarist of the Arctic Monkeys, one of the most successful and critically acclaimed rock bands of the 21st century. Born on January 6, 1986, in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, Turner formed the Arctic Monkeys with his schoolmates in 2002. Their debut album “Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not” (2006) became the fastest-selling debut album in UK chart history at the time.

Turner is widely regarded as one of the finest lyricists of his generation, known for his witty, observational songwriting that captures the nuances of everyday British life.
