Celine Marie Claudette Dion is a Canadian singer and businesswoman who is widely regarded as one of the greatest vocalists in the history of popular music. Born on March 30, 1968, in Charlemagne, Quebec, Canada, she was the youngest of 14 children in a musically inclined family. She gained early recognition in the French-speaking world after her manager Rene Angelil mortgaged his home to finance her first record.
