Tiesto, born Tijs Michiel Verwest, is a Dutch DJ, music producer, and entrepreneur who is widely regarded as one of the most influential and successful DJs of all time. Born in Breda, Netherlands, he began DJing at the age of 14 and quickly became a prominent figure in the Dutch electronic music scene.
