Gavin Rossdale

Gavin Rossdale is a British musician best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Bush, one of the most successful post-grunge bands of the 1990s. Born in Kilburn, London, Rossdale formed Bush in 1992 with guitarist Nigel Pulsford, bassist Dave Parsons, and drummer Robin Goodridge. The band’s debut album Sixteen Stone, released in 1994, became a massive commercial success in the United States, selling over six million copies and producing hit singles like “Everything Zen,” “Comedown,” and “Glycerine.”

Bush continued their success with the follow-up albums Razorblade Suitcase, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in 1996, and The Science of Things in 1999. The band sold over 20 million records worldwide before going on hiatus in 2002. Rossdale pursued a solo career, releasing the album WANDERlust in 2008, before reuniting Bush in 2010. Beyond music, Rossdale has dabbled in acting, appearing in films such as Constantine alongside Keanu Reeves, The Bling Ring, and the video game adaptation of the Burnout franchise. He also served as a coach on the UK version of The Voice in 2017.
