Elizabeth Debicki is an Australian actress known for her striking screen presence and ability to inhabit complex, compelling characters. Born in Paris, France, to a Polish father and an Australian mother of Irish descent, she moved to Melbourne, Australia, as a child. She studied at the Victorian College of the Arts at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. Her theatrical training gave her a strong foundation that has been evident throughout her career.

Debicki first gained international attention with her role as Jordan Baker in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby (2013), starring opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan.
