Chris Liebing is a German DJ and producer who has been a pillar of the techno scene for over three decades. Born in Gießen, Germany, he’s known for his hard-hitting, industrial-influenced techno sound and his dedication to the genre’s underground roots.
Liebing founded the influential CLR (Create Learn Realize) label, which became a launching pad for many techno artists. He also hosts the long-running “AM/FM” podcast, one of the most popular techno radio shows in the world.
As a remixer, he’s worked with artists including Depeche Mode, Speedy J, and countless techno producers. His sets are known for their intensity and his ability to read crowds while maintaining an uncompromising sound.
