Cailee Spaeny is an American actress who has rapidly emerged as one of Hollywood’s most exciting young talents. Born in Springfield, Missouri, she began performing in musical theater as a child and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting.
Spaeny made her film debut in Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018) and quickly followed with roles in Bad Times at the El Royale (2018), Vice (2018), and On the Basis of Sex (2018). Her range was evident early, moving seamlessly between blockbusters and prestige films.
Her career reached new heights with her lead role as Priscilla Presley in Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla (2023), which earned her the Best Actress award at the Venice Film Festival. She continued her ascent starring in Civil War (2024) from director Alex Garland and Alien: Romulus (2024).
In 2026, Spaeny joins the ensemble cast of Netflix’s Beef Season 2, further solidifying her status as a versatile actress capable of both indie and commercial success.
