Boston Rob

Rob Mariano, known as “Boston Rob,” is an American television personality widely considered one of the greatest reality TV competitors of all time. Born in Canton, Massachusetts, he became a household name through his multiple appearances on Survivor and The Amazing Race.

Mariano first appeared on Survivor: Marquesas (2002), where his strategic gameplay revolutionized the show. He returned for Survivor: All-Stars (2004), where he met his wife Amber Brkich, and they became one of reality TV’s most famous couples. He finally won Survivor: Redemption Island (2011) after four attempts, cementing his legacy.

Beyond Survivor, Mariano competed on The Amazing Race twice with Amber, winning Season 11 (All-Stars). He’s known as the “Godfather of Survivor” for his influence on strategic gameplay and has mentored contestants on recent seasons.

In 2025, Boston Rob appeared on The Traitors Season 3, bringing his legendary strategic mind to a new competition. His presence elevated the show’s intensity and attracted Survivor fans to the series.
