Tamera Mowry

Tamera Mowry rose to prominence alongside her identical twin sister Tia Mowry as the co-star of the hit ABC/WB sitcom Sister, Sister, which aired from 1994 to 1999. The show followed the lives of twin sisters separated at birth who are reunited as teenagers, and it became one of the most popular family comedies of the 1990s. The Mowry twins became cultural icons and role models for a generation of young viewers.

After Sister, Sister ended, Tamera continued to build her career in entertainment. She and Tia starred in several made-for-television movies, including Twitches (2005) and Twitches Too (2007) for the Disney Channel. Tamera also appeared in the reality series Tia & Tamera from 2011 to 2013, which gave fans an intimate look at the twins’ adult lives, including marriages and motherhood.

From 2013 to 2020, Tamera served as a co-host on the Emmy Award-winning daytime talk show The Real, where she became known for her warm personality, thoughtful commentary, and willingness to discuss personal topics openly. Beyond television, Tamera has ventured into writing, co-authoring the book Twintuition with her sister Tia. She is also known for her faith-based lifestyle content and her role as a devoted mother and wife to Fox News correspondent Adam Housley. The couple has been married since 2011 and has two children together.
