Pedro Gonzalez Lopez, known professionally as Pedri, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for FC Barcelona and the Spain national team. Born in Tegueste, a small town on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Pedri joined the youth academy of UD Las Palmas before Barcelona signed him in 2019 for a reported fee of around 5 million euros, a deal that would prove to be one of the bargains of modern football.
