David Adedeji Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, was born on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia, to a wealthy Nigerian family. His father, Adedeji Adeleke, is a Nigerian billionaire businessman, and his mother, Vero Adeleke, was a university lecturer who passed away in 2003. Davido grew up between the United States and Nigeria, attending the British International School in Lagos before studying business administration at Oakwood University in Alabama.
