Faith Hill

Faith Hill is one of the most successful country and pop crossover artists in music history. Born Audrey Faith Perry in Ridgeland, Mississippi, she was adopted as an infant and grew up in Star, Mississippi. She moved to Nashville at age 19 to pursue a career in country music, initially working as a secretary at a music publishing company. She signed with Warner Bros. Nashville in 1993 and released her debut album “Take Me as I Am,” which went platinum and produced her first major hit, “Wild One,” which spent four consecutive weeks at number one.

Hill’s commercial breakthrough came with her 1998 album “Faith,” followed by the massive crossover success of 1999’s “Breathe.” The title track from “Breathe” became a worldwide hit, reaching number one on both the country and pop charts and earning her Grammy Awards. The album sold over 8 million copies in the US alone. She continued her success with “Cry” (2002) and “Fireflies” (2005), establishing herself as one of the few country artists who could consistently cross over to mainstream pop success. Hill’s partnership with husband Tim McGraw has been a significant part of both their careers. Their Soul2Soul II Tour (2006-2007) was the highest-grossing country music tour of all time at that point. In 2017, they launched a joint Las Vegas residency at The Venetian, further capitalizing on their combined star power. She also starred alongside McGraw in the Paramount+ series “1883” in 2021, playing Margaret Dutton in the Yellowstone prequel.

Beyond music and acting, Hill has been a major presence in television and endorsements. She performed the opening theme for NBC’s Sunday Night Football from 2007 to 2013. She has endorsed brands including Cover Girl, Nationwide Insurance, and her own fragrance line. Her real estate portfolio includes luxury properties in Nashville, Beverly Hills, and a private island in the Bahamas. Her estimated individual net worth stands at $80 million.
