Christen Press

Christen Press is an American professional soccer player who has been a prominent figure in women’s soccer for over a decade. Born in Los Angeles, California, she attended Chadwick School before earning a scholarship to Stanford University, where she became one of the most decorated players in the program’s history. At Stanford, she won the Hermann Trophy in 2010 as the top collegiate player in the nation and helped lead the Cardinal to an NCAA championship.

Press made her senior debut for the United States Women’s National Team in 2013 and quickly established herself as a dynamic forward with exceptional technical ability and finishing. She was a key member of the USWNT squad that won the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada and the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, scoring crucial goals in both tournaments.
