Alison Brie

Alison Brie is an American actress, producer, and voice actress who has built one of the most versatile careers in Hollywood over nearly two decades. Born Alison Brie Schermerhorn on December 29, 1982, in Hollywood, California, she was raised in the South Pasadena area. She studied at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and also trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, giving her a strong classical foundation.

Brie first came to prominence through two simultaneous television roles that showcased her remarkable range. She played Trudy Campbell, the earnest 1960s housewife, on AMC’s Mad Men (2008-2015), and Annie Edison, the overachieving student, on NBC’s Community (2009-2015).
