Kaley Cuoco is an American actress and producer best known for her iconic role as Penny on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, one of the most-watched and highest-rated television series of the 21st century. Born in Camarillo, California, Cuoco began her career as a child actress and model, appearing in commercials and small television roles before landing her first significant part in the film Quicksand: No Escape (1992) at just seven years old.

Cuoco’s early career included notable roles in the sitcom 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter (2002-2005), where she starred alongside the late John Ritter, and the series Charmed. However, it was her casting as Penny in The Big Bang Theory in 2007 that transformed her into one of television’s highest-paid actresses.
