Cillian Murphy

Cillian Murphy was born on May 25, 1976, in Douglas, Cork, Ireland. He initially pursued a career in music, playing guitar and singing in various bands during his teenage years, before discovering his passion for acting through theater. He studied law at University College Cork but dropped out to focus on acting full time. His stage career began with the Corcadorca Theatre Company in Cork, and his breakthrough came with the play Disco Pigs in 1996, which he performed in both Ireland and internationally.
