Porsha Williams

Porsha Williams became a household name through her appearance on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, joining the cast in Season 5 in 2012. The granddaughter of civil rights leader Hosea Williams, Porsha brought a mix of glamour, humor, and sometimes controversial moments to the show. Her early seasons were marked by her divorce from former NFL player Kordell Stewart and her journey to find herself as an independent woman, which resonated with many viewers.

Throughout her time on RHOA, Porsha became known for some of the show’s most dramatic moments, including her physical altercation with Kenya Moore during the Season 6 reunion. However, she also showed tremendous personal growth over the years, evolving from a cast member often underestimated by her peers to a savvy businesswoman and respected public figure. She launched the Naked Hair line and her Go Naked Hair brand, which became successful businesses.

In 2020, Porsha emerged as a prominent activist, participating in Black Lives Matter protests in Louisville, Kentucky, where she was arrested while demonstrating for justice for Breonna Taylor. Her activism brought a new dimension to her public persona and connected her to the legacy of her grandfather. She documented this journey in her memoir The Pursuit of Porsha and on the show, earning widespread respect for using her platform for social justice.

After departing RHOA, Porsha starred in her own Bravo spinoff, Porsha’s Family Matters, in 2021. She became engaged to Simon Guobadia, the ex-husband of her former RHOA castmate Falynn Guobadia, in a relationship that generated significant controversy. They married in November 2022 but later divorced. Porsha has a daughter, Pilar Jhena, born in 2019 with her ex-fiance Dennis McKinley. She continues to build her brand through television, business ventures, and social media.
