Nicole Kidman is an Australian-American actress and producer who has maintained her status as one of the most respected and highest-paid performers in entertainment for over three decades. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Australian parents, she was raised in Sydney, Australia. She began her acting career in Australian film and television in the mid-1980s and gained international attention with the thriller “Dead Calm” (1989). Her Hollywood breakthrough came alongside Tom Cruise in “Days of Thunder” (1990), beginning both a professional and personal partnership that would dominate tabloid headlines for a decade.

Kidman’s career reached new heights in the early 2000s.
