Tycho (Scott Hansen) is an American ambient and electronic music project known for its dreamy, nostalgic soundscapes. Based in San Francisco, Hansen began as a graphic designer whose visual aesthetic became inseparable from his musical identity.
His music combines electronic production with live instrumentation, creating warm, textured soundscapes that evoke feelings of nostalgia and wonder. Albums including “Dive” (2011), “Awake” (2014), “Epoch” (2016), and “Weather” (2019) have earned critical acclaim and Grammy nominations.
