Jamie Dornan is a Northern Irish actor and former model who gained worldwide recognition for his role as Christian Grey in the “Fifty Shades” film franchise. Born James Peter Dornan on May 1, 1982, in Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland, he grew up in a supportive family, though he experienced tragedy when his mother Lorna passed away from pancreatic cancer when he was 16. He studied at Teeside University before pursuing a career in modeling and acting in London.

Dornan first gained prominence as a model in the mid-2000s, becoming one of the most sought-after male models in the industry.
