Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and entrepreneur who first rose to fame as the youngest member of the Jonas Brothers alongside his brothers Kevin and Joe. Born in Dallas, Texas, Nick was discovered on Broadway at age seven when a talent scout heard him singing in a barbershop. He released the solo track “Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)” at age nine and eventually signed with Columbia Records, which led to the formation of the Jonas Brothers as a group.

The Jonas Brothers became one of the biggest pop acts of the late 2000s, particularly through their association with Disney Channel, starring in the film “Camp Rock” (2008) and its sequel, as well as the series “Jonas” (2009-2010). Their albums “Jonas Brothers” (2007) and “A Little Bit Longer” (2008) both debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. After the group went on hiatus in 2013, Nick launched a successful solo career with his self-titled album “Nick Jonas” (2014), featuring the hit single “Jealous” which reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Jonas Brothers reunited in 2019 with the comeback single “Sucker,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the group’s first chart-topper. Their reunion album “Happiness Begins” also debuted at number one, and the accompanying tour grossed over $100 million. Nick has simultaneously built an acting career with roles in “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” (2017) and its sequel, as well as the drama series “Kingdom” (2014-2017).

Beyond entertainment, Nick Jonas has built significant wealth through business ventures and endorsements. He co-founded the tequila brand Villa One with designer John Varvatos, and has had lucrative brand partnerships with companies including Dexcom, for which he has been a prominent spokesperson given his personal experience with Type 1 diabetes, diagnosed at age 13. His marriage to actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas in 2018 made them one of entertainment’s most high-profile power couples, and their combined brand appeal has led to additional endorsement opportunities.
